🍎 Apple to launch Quartz, an AI health coach app.
I am not sure about all of you, but personally, I seldom open the Apple health app on my iPhone unless I decide to go for a run every few years. However, let's shift the focus from me to Apple's new project, Quartz, an AI-powered health coach app.
The app aims to assist users in maintaining their motivation to exercise, improving their eating habits, and getting better sleep by utilizing information about their behavior. Additionally, the app can customize personal programs by analyzing data from Apple Watch feeds. Apple even intends to develop the app further to understand users' moods and emotions in the future, making it an even more advanced application.

If you have concerns about data protection similar to the Italians and object to ChatGPT, then you'll be glad to know that OpenAI has embraced the issue. They offer an option to turn off chat history, which ensures that your conversations won't be utilized to train future language models or enhance existing ones.
This feature has been coined "incognito mode" by Reuters. Rest assured that OpenAI still retains your chat history for 30 days to assess for any misuse. Moreover, there will soon be a new business subscription that prioritizes your privacy and keeps your inputs safe.
🤗 Hugging Face releases AI chatbot HuggingChat.
Hugging Face, the popular open-source platform, has recently launched their own open-source chatbot named HuggingChat, which comes with a web interface and an API.
Although it may not yet rival the language models of more established players, it's still a noteworthy addition, especially considering it's free of charge.

🦄 Replit launches open source code gen model.
Yesterday morning, Replit unveiled their series B extension, securing $97.4 million at a $1.16 billion valuation. I anticipated that an announcement regarding their in-real-life gathering would follow suit.
Later on, Replit released a code-generation model that surpasses Open AI's Codex, having been trained from scratch and fine-tuned using Replit data. Additionally, they plan to release this model under an open-source license. More information regarding the model's size and performance can be found here.
Replit has been making impressive strides as of late, with the potential to rival Github.
