🤖 Inflection launched its first chatbot called “Pi”

We have a noteworthy development on our hands - a new set of powerful chatbots has emerged, and this one stands out from the crowd with its unique capabilities.

For starters, the minds behind this chatbot are top-tier - including former members of DeepMind/Google, a co-founder of LinkedIn, and a board member of OpenAI, among others. The chatbot, called Pi, is designed to function as a personal companion that learns and develops over time by analyzing your interactions. Forbes reports that Pi excels at active listening and can engage in back-and-forth dialogue to help you work through questions or problems.

One of the most impressive aspects of this chatbot is its ability to maintain memories of your interactions across multiple platforms. Additionally, the creators of Pi claim that this is not even their most powerful model, as they have developed an even more advanced chatbot that they consider to be the best on the market.

🎓 Khan Academy launches chatbot for students and teachers.

While considering who could be America's equivalent of David Attenborough, I arrived at the conclusion that Sal Khan, the founder and spokesperson of Khan Academy, might just fit the bill. Khan Academy is an exceptional education platform that offers top-notch resources to learners across the globe.

During a recent TED talk, Sal Khan introduced the academy's new AI educator, which acts as both a tutor and a teaching assistant. The AI educator possesses the ability to diagnose where a student might have made an error, provide guidance on better approaches, act as a guide, assume the persona of a historical figure, and even serve as a formidable debate opponent. This approach to education is highly commendable and has the potential to bring about a profound shift in how students excel in the future.

👨‍🔬 ChatGPT’s code interpreter is amazing at analyzing data.

The ChatGPT Code Interpreter has recently garnered attention on Twitter for its impressive capabilities. This tool can read files, download files, and execute its own code. According to Ethan Mollick, it excels at data analysis.

With large datasets, the interpreter generates hypotheses, conducts statistical tests, performs regressions, summarizes results, and generates plots and visualizations - all of which can be easily downloaded. The output is accurate, stylish, and can save hours of data analysis work in mere minutes. While currently only available in Alpha mode, it is likely to be released soon, so keep an eye out.
